Caroline Mackenzie
Director

Caroline has worked in the business events industry for almost 30 years, firstly within the medical communication sector, managing meetings and congress participation for major global pharmaceutical companies, and for 17 years as a PCO,  providing consultancy and meetings management to national and international associations.

Caroline works with associations to delivery and manage their national and international events. She also advises on association development strategies, income generation mechanisms, impacts of changing trends and regulations, including GDPR  and healthcare compliance.  She has led a number of international association bids; both inbound to the UK and on behalf of International Associations as tender co-ordinator on their behalf.

 

She is passionate about making meetings more engaging and the importance of Business Tourism as an economic driver and how association events contribute to social and economic legacies.

Caroline lives with her family in the beautiful market town of Moffat in the Scottish southern uplands.

Emma Sanders
Director

Emma is a data planning expert. She has 20 years data planning experience gained from working for a number of leading marketing and data management agencies.

 

Her vast experience means that she is the best possible source of

information available on; global data sources, how best to exploit them, as well as current legislation concerning data usage, changing regulation and the requirements for GDPR compliance.

 

She has a wealth of knowledge across the data management sector including; data provision, validation and legislation for the B2B and B2C data marketing sectors.

Susie Hide
Consultant

Based in Perthshire, Susie has particular expertise in the association management and meetings industry sectors. 

She has considerable experience of administering associations, delivering international congresses and training programmes and designing and fulfilling research projects. She spent 10-years spent working within a European Medical

Association, latterly as Executive Director along with cross-sectoral management consulting roles.  

She has undertaken consultancy work for various clients both within the UK and internationally.  She has exemplary analytical skills gained across a range of business sectors.

Ken Jamieson
Consultant

Ken has over 30 years’ experience in managing and operating international exhibition, events and sports venues as well as creating, developing and delivering major events throughout the Middle East, Europe and Asia. His extensive portfolio of projects includes; business conferences, exhibitions, corporate events as well as live entertainment projects including music productions, theatre shows, awards ceremonies and mass participation events

​​Before becoming an industry consultant, Ken’s past employers included; Informa Plc, Dubai World Trade Centre and Qatar Foundation where, as General Manager, he led the Qatar National Convention Centre team through extensive management, operational and strategy changes which resulted in significant performance improvements, revenue growth and utilization. Ken has a B.A.(Hons), a post graduate diploma and is in the final stages of completing his MS.c in International Event Management.

Whilst not our most efficient team member, Mack makes up for this by being a great motivator!
